SHOW by SkyCity Rewards Program

At our Auckland venue, we have SHOW by SkyCity rewards running at the centre of our loyalty experience, launched on 4 August 2025, evolving from Premier Rewards as a reimagined loyalty brand experience. Promo codes are no longer central - the SHOW program provides rewards. All you need is a free SHOW card, and when you opt in to SHOW by SkyCity Rewards during registration, you’ll start earning points. Both existing loyalty members and new entertainment seekers can sign up and opt in to rewards. Existing Premier Rewards members do not need to sign up again and can continue using their current Premier Rewards card. Play, dine, even stay at our properties across New Zealand - you earn points either way.

Registering for SHOW by SkyCity is easy. Sign-up can be completed online or onsite at self-service kiosks or with dedicated SHOW by SkyCity team members. Valid photo ID is required for collection — acceptable forms include a current overseas national identity card with signature or biometric data (e.g., fingerprint). Minimum age is 20 years or over. You will need to register for a SHOW by SkyCity card together with an associated customer account from 15 July 2025 to game at SkyCity. Your digital photo will be printed on your SHOW by SkyCity card and retained on systems for identity verification. If you’re already in with our old Premier Rewards, no stress, your benefits still remain and now stretch across Auckland, Hamilton, and Queenstown. Higher tier membership offered after earning requisite points over 6 months.

How to Register and Collect Your Card

Sign-up online or onsite at kiosks or Guest Services, takes less than 5 minutes. Sign-up can be completed online or onsite at self-service kiosks or with dedicated SHOW by SkyCity team members. Use the form at skycityauckland.co.nz, upload your identification, wait for confirmation, then collect your card at Guest Services Desk. In-person is usually even faster, most folks complete sign-up in less than 5 minutes.

Digital access details may be available through our app. You can check your balance and see fresh offers via the SkyCity app, which also allows you to access your account information online. For slots or table play, your SHOW by SkyCity card is required. The connected SHOW card unlocks access to all casino games, dining, hotel stays, and attractions across all SkyCity New Zealand properties.

What usually happens

2. Choose new member.
3. Put in your details.
4. Provide a clear photo ID.
5. Confirm your address if asked.
6. Accept the terms.
7. You’ll get a confirmation with your member number.
8. Either pick up the card in person or activate the digital copy.

Earn Rewards Points by inserting your card in Gaming Machines, presenting it at table games, making purchases at dining outlets and bars, and during hotel check-in. With every spin, shuffle, or food order, your SHOW card racks up points once you’ve opted in to Rewards. These aren’t for show - they let you get actual things right away. Score a daily beverage for just 1 point. That balance grows into meal credits, cheaper parking, and yes, Sky Tower access if you want the view. Rewards Points can be earned across play, dining, stays, and exploring SkyCity across New Zealand. Every 100 Rewards Points equals $1 in value, redeemable according to programme rules.

Redeem points on Gaming Machines via PIN and Balance, or at cashier for Table Bonus Play Chips. Keep in mind, if your account sits untouched for a while, those points might drop off. Rewards Points expiry and reminder policy require confirmation, so check your account regularly to make the most of your balance. Rewards Dollars gifted separately, equal $1 in credits or chips.

SkyCare Breaks

Player wellbeing matters here. SkyCare enforces rest periods, with specific time and break limits designed to support responsible gaming. Clock past five hours and you’ll need a 30-minute break. Ten hours in a single 24-hour window? We’ll lock you out for six hours. Hit 36 hours in a week, and a longer pause kicks in.

Card activity at Gaming Machines and table games is tracked to monitor session duration. If you approach a limit, staff gets an alert. Upon re-entry to the gaming floor, card verification confirms break completion.

Accessing the Casino Floor

We run gaming machines plus table games in Auckland. Your SHOW card is your ticket in - needed at every entrance and required for play on Gaming Machines and Tables. This way, we keep the place secure and make sure gaming is handled right.

For Gaming Machines, insert your SHOW card before adding credits. The system checks your details and any exclusions. Table games mean showing your card to the pit team - they’ll log your session and activate SkyCare timers.

VIP room access follows specific qualification criteria. Poker needs your usual card but also separate registration for tournament entry. Everywhere, the R20 (age 20) rule is enforced. Our security team does random ID checks.

Dress standards are in place, and admission isn’t guaranteed. Anyone too drunk is turned away, no discussion, rewards card or not.

Opening Hours and Closures

Normally, Casino Auckland is open around the clock, but a few exceptions apply. We may have special closure hours on public holidays. Gaming availability may be restricted during certain public holiday periods. Bars, restaurants, and the Sky Tower go on different hours during these days.

We’ve got multiple dining and drinking spots, each with its hours listed on our site. Hotel reception is always staffed.

For general maintenance, we do periodic closures - you’ll get advance notice. Some machines or tables might be unavailable, but we keep alternatives open so the fun doesn’t stop.
